No matter what time it is, I will always take time to unwind. Going through my beauty regimen is what helps me “disconnect” from a busy day and getting ready before a night out means: going through beauty regimen. It helps me feel refreshed and well rested.
Step 1: Milk Way
Finding the right cleanser is a long process. You have to try out some, wait to see the results. I have never been disappointed been by the Glossier cleanser. The Milky Jelly Cleanser is just like you can imagine it: it is milky, kind of like a jelly and it cleanse your skin perfectly. No breakouts guaranteed.
Step 2: Galaxy Mask
The creamy texture is not too harsh not too soft on the skin. This creamy muddy mask is just what you need before a night out or after a long week. I love getting a quick 10min #skintox before getting ready and putting makeup on. I have tried both, without a skin detox and with, the results are striking. My skin glows and hold the make up longer all night. Girls: make sure to wear a headband! You wouldn’t want to get mud on your hair.. I use the Terry Hand band. It’s functional and let’s admit it…It’s cool.
Step 3: The Boy Brows
Unless you have the most perfect eyebrows on the planet (which will never happen because no one is perfect!), you should never neglect your eyebrows. It doesn’t mean you have to fill them with make up, you can simply highlight them with a natural look. For this I use The Boy Brow by Glossier. It’s a gel/mascara for eyebrows with the tint for my hair color (brown). The texture is super light and always looks super natural, which I love.
Final touch: Highlight
It’s that time of the year when your summer glow is on point. Natural make up looks can be highlighted with the Haloscope. My skin is olive/beige so I use the Topaz shade. The Haloscope comes with a dual-delivery formula: the outer halo is infused with genuine crystal extracts for all-day enlightenment with a solid oil core of vitamin-rich moisturizers for a hydrated, dewy finish.
